New Shirts

November 27th, 2011 by kimminsung

In a long time, I bought bespoke shirts. Actually, I was a little bit worried about the quality because my favorite shirts tailor has been very popular while I was absent in Korea. And it is quite common thing a shop or restaurant has lost their initial quality since they became popular. However, when I wear my new shirts I feel the same feeling – the perfect fitting – as I wore others before. It is very nice to wear a decent & well-fitted shirt with a reasonable price.

I am still quite confusing which one is the best suit tailor in Korea, however in the case of shirts tailor, I can confidently say that, so far, Goshe is the best in Korea.

146

November 13th, 2011 by kimminsung

My second 145 still has got a delicate trouble in her nib even though I’ve tried to fix it for a long time. Besides, these days I’ve got an interest in bold pen, so I bought a 146 during the last trip. In this purchase, I chose a gold one rather than platinum because I felt gold is more classic for 146, and EF nib as always. I also found Montblanc store in Incheon International Airport has the largest number of EF pens in Korea (and maybe in Asia) since the manager has a deep understanding in the distinct feature of Montblanc’s nib (It is a well known fact that Montblanc’s nib is more wide & irregular than other makers). Thanks to this store, I could compare many 146s and chose the best one. Now, I am filling my beautiful 146 with black ink and writing the first handwriting.

Ground Zero

November 5th, 2011 by kimminsung

Thanks to my friend, I could get into the Ground Zero construction site. It was much more huge and complicated than I thought, and the art of building and structure was also awesome. I also could see the debris of this historical tragedy, twisted girders and torn columns, which still remain here and there in the site; and felt deep sorry for the innocent victims. I may be the first Korean who can get into this construction site until the bottom, and I truly enjoyed this great privilege.
